Recognition from State Board of Education, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee
Redmond, Wash. – The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has announced that 20 different LWSD schools have been recognized through the Washington School Recognition Program for the 2023-24 school year.
Teams of four to six students from every middle school in Lake Washington School District showed up at Kirkland Middle School on March 25 for this year’s Battle of the Books.
Everything looks a little better with some paint on it. That is why students at Finn Hill Middle School (FHMS) and Environmental & Adventure School (EAS) have teamed up with local muralist and EAS alumnus Austin Picinich to paint a mural at their school.
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students had another successful showing at this year’s Washington Technology Student Association (TSA) state competition. About 200 students finished in the top three during the March 13-16 event.
